A slice of colorful Tahitian South Sea black lip oyster shell underneath a faceted white topaz. A pearl and a gemstone permanently fused to create a new kind of gemstone, a doublet. It's a large gem so all it needed was a special earwire, which I gladly fabricated for her in sterling silver.
